OBJECTIVES

1. To impart information necessary to assist adult learners in acquiring basic skills in literacy and numeracy.

2. To enable individuals who ore functioning at basic levels of literacy and numeracy to further develop their knowledge and potential and to attain higher levels of literacy and numeracy while achieving their goals.

3. To create a positive and wholesome learning environment catered to the needs of adult learners.

4. To contribute to the development of accreditation programmes for adults participating in literacy and numeracy training. To provide assistance for the development and training of adult learner educational facilitators.
